The story of a hospital, the Polyclinic of Athens, that offered free care for the destitute, and the holy man, that served as a priest in the hospital's small church. Both the hospital and the priest, (now saint Porphyrios of the Orthodox Church), offered their services to all who needed it, with no questions asked. Athens Polyclinic was indeed a refuge in the center of Athens. Omonoia. The roughest place Athens.
